Pull the E-brake cable through the rubber holder (attached to the trailing arm) and also pull the ABS sensor wire out of its clips enough to give you freedom to swing the trailing arm down. You don't have to remove them all the way, just enough to give you working room.
Disconnect the trailing arm from the chassis by unbolting the two bolts at the front pivot.
(Note) In order to get the maximum amount of room you must disconnect both the right and left sides because the anti-sway bar will otherwise limit the travel of the trailing arm.
