| Scrape | Scrape all the loose paint from the chassis. Scrape off all the undercoating as best I can, in preparation for sandblasting. |
||
| Cut | Cut out all the rusty metal from the chassis. | ||
| Fabricate | Replacement panels for the cut away chassis material. | ||
| Rebuild | Either my 36 DCD 2 bbl Weber carb (this will require purchasing a
rebuild kit) or My 32/36 DGV (which will also require a rebuild kit) |
||
| Design | "Street" roll cage. Heavy duty rear hoop with lighter weight bracing. Additional in-door side intrusion prevention too. | ||
| R&R | Pedal cluster. I'e gotten it out, but cracked a portion of the mounting housing in the chassis. That will have to be welded and then re-bored in order to be right again. |
||
| R&R | Brakes - entire system - replace stock with the 4 bolt setup
from Saab 96 Monte Carlo. I need to do a skim cut on the rotors and drums to prepare the braking surface. I need to rebuild the rear wheel cylinders. (need kit) I need the little rubber O-ring that seals the brake fluid passage between the two halves of the front calipers. Anyone know what size they are or where I can get them? |
