The story goes...

John "Jake" Jacobson takes his 1933 Morgan Trike to an autocross. This was some time ago. Mid to late 70's I suspect. Jake somehow convinces Bill Rule to ride along as a passenger, and to act as a sidecar racing passenger would... To help keep all three wheels on the ground and increase the cornering capabilities of the Morgan, Bill will hang onto the side of the Morgan and try to use his weight to advantage.

The passenger door is removed to give Bill somewhere to work.

Bill don's his motorcycle leathers and Jake puts on his driving gloves.

The two-cylinder JAP motorcycle engine is tuned and started and off they go.

Then... suddenly... Bill is looking up at Jake... too far up... and bails out.

No damage done, but Jake says Bill was just a big chicken.
